Cinnamon Protein Cake Bars

Life’s been busy recently so I’m all about having snacks I can grab on the go. These cinnamon protein cake bars have been on repeat these past few weeks and I’ve been dying to share them with you!

What you need

tbsp baking powder

tsp cinnamon sugar
cup unsweetened applesauce

tbsp coconut sugar

tsp vanilla extract
cup plain greek yogurt

tsp ground cinnamon

cup almond milk
egg

tsp salt

cup oat flour

tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8x8 pan with nonstick spray. 2. Mix together flour, coconut sugar, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, cinnamon sugar mix in a large bowl. 3. In a separate bowl mix together egg, applesauce, Greek yogurt, almond milk and vanilla extract. 4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until fully incorporated. Then pour into baking pan. 5. Mix together cinnamon, coconut sugar and cinnamon sugar. Sprinkle over the batter and swirl into the batter using a knife. 6. Bake for about 30-35 minutes. Or until a toothpick comes out clean. **personally I think they are best when cold! So I store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.View original recipe
